Open Sango Translation Model

Fine-tuned on a quality-filtered French-Sango corpus. Version v2-2 beats the NLLB-200 baseline out-of-distribution on FLORES+ and SIB-200 for Sango→French; for French→Sango the baseline is still stronger, and we publish that result too. Free for non-commercial use (CC-BY-NC 4.0).

Sango Vocabulary Dataset

Hundreds of Sango entries with French and English translations, pronunciation guides, and grammar context. Every entry carries its source and review status — unverifiable entries are withdrawn, and the audit trail is public.

Open-source tokenizer, language detector, and stemmer for Sango. Published on npm. Diacritic-aware by design — handles the 8 tonal diacritics of the Sango orthography.
